Sanaya / Overlake High School

Sanaya’s senior shoot was supposed to happen in December! But we got rained out a couple times and ended up having to wait over a month! The wait was definitely worth it though…Sanaya’s session is a perfect example of how beautiful photos can be in the winter if you plan the perfect outfits and locations. Nature photos are trickier, but doable if you aren’t set on flowers and fall colors! Compared to people who live in other areas, the Pacific Northwest in wintertime is a photo wonderland! We have mountains, water, forests and parks, pretty cities and so much more! We decided to go all out and do both nature and downtown locations for Sanaya’s shoot. Her purple dress was one of my absolute favorite outfits to photograph and I loved that the sun came out for a few minutes during that location!!
