Senior Portraits / Bellevue-Kirkland Washington area

Ella’s senior portraits are a favorite of the summer! I just loved her outfits and she chose one of my favorite areas for photos too! Her family even joined us for a mini-shoot at the end of the evening! Ella is also an actor so we captured a few stunning new headshots for her to use at auditions. I love it when my seniors also need acting headshots because closeup headshot portraits are my favorite thing to do!

Musician Headshots with Jason Lux Music

I did these headshots for Jason a while back and realized I never shared them on the blog here! Winter is the perfect time for headshots for several reasons. Many types of headshots are taken in urban settings or even indoors, so weather is less of an issue. The soft winter light is ideal for portraits and neutral urban backdrops are just what I like to use to compliment skin tones. Also, actors start needing photos for casting directors to use! I enjoy headshot sessions so much that they are a close second to my senior portraits! The trick is to find a day when the weather is dry and temps are above 30 degrees!;)
